Our client is a global customer centric company who specialises in support services for thousands of Australians across aged care and disability services, job seeker, and workplace health services. We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic people leader to join this customer service team working on an Australian Government-Funded service.

  
About the role:
  
As a Team Leader, you will be leading a team of Customer Service Consultants working in a contact centre environment who are handling inbound calls from elderly customers regarding general enquiries. You will be responsible for:
  
  • Engaging, coaching, mentoring and developing customer service consultants
  • Handling escalated customer complaint calls
  • Monitor and actively manage performance and behaviours, providing ongoing training and support
  • Promote a customer centric culture and motivate your team to exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure compliance of policies, legislations and risk management processes
  • Empower and foster a collaborative, supportive and team oriented culture
  
Skills & attributes required:
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of people, either face to face (Retail / Hospitality) or contact centre environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to build rapport and motivate a team
  • Adaptability and resilience - being able to work in a fast paced environment and deescalate challenging customer conversations
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to empower team performance and development
