As an Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will proactively recruit and source a qualified, high calibre, fit for purpose workforce, which includes employees and independent contractors. In this role, you will be heavily supported by a Contractor Onboarding Specialist Team, which will take care of all your onboarding administration! At last, a recruitment role where you can genuinely focus on talent acquisition!
  
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing high volume, end to end recruitment and sourcing services to internal customers
  • Attract and build a pipeline of talent through a variety of channels, including research, internal and external database searches, online job boards, LinkedIn, social media sourcing, campaigns and referrals to engage and source independent contractors and candidates.
  • Partner with Divisional and Departmental Managers and other key stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of their business and resource requirements.
  • Strategic sourcing - Research remote locations to ensure a proactive approach of sourcing is adopted to strengthen the prospective contractor database.
  • Monitor and report on contractor sourcing progress and internal recruitment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and effectiveness of the sourcing and recruitment processes, by adopting an agile approach to service delivery.
  • Provide insightful feedback to the Human Resource Manager to continuously improve talent acquisition strategies that support workforce planning objectives related to the attraction, selection, recruitment and sourcing of talented employees, and skilled/fit for purpose independent contractors.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, talent management and succession planning
  
To be successful, you must have:
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high volume and fast paced recruitment role – either internal or within an agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of talent pipeline, behavioural interviewing, sourcing strategies and selection tools
  • Previous experience sourcing in-field technical contractors within the engineering, construction, utilities, telecommunications or trades is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and achieving results in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement
  • Outstanding problem solving and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Resilience and adaptability
